Copper likes the carpet cleaner

March_2008_073

Yes David was cleaning up a mud mess from the dogs, and Copper came over sat down and looked at him like, "Why aren't you paying attention to me?"  So he got cleaned.  And he loved it.  See how he is closing his eyes like he is in pure heaven?

Googly Eyes

Every Sunday after church is family day at our house.  We have lots of fun together.
Sunday afternoon we were making googly eyes at each other.  First it was Grandma.

Tomorrow is supposed to be our first youth group at church.  David and I are the new youth leaders.  We are also expecting really bad weather and may have to cancel it.  Disappointing, but that's the way with winter weather!

Happy Valentine's Day

On this day when we celebrate our love, for our husbands and wives, our children, and our family and friends, let's take a brief moment to stop and consider God's love for us.

As I spend each day marveling at the miracle I call my life, I can't help thinking all he went through so that I could have this joy.  5 beautiful daughters, an adoring husband, a wonderful extended family, and many many friends.  Every blessing I count has been granted to me by the grace of God.

I guess I'd just like people to stop and think of their original Valentine.  It was the greatest gift of all.  Take a moment to stop by Youtube and watch this video.

I know it is a Christmas song, but it really illustrates the love that God had for us.
