Monday

It's back to school today.  The kids aren't too excited and it's going to take awhile for them to turn their brains back on after a summer of not thinking.  Danijela has gotten used to the kids playing with her all the time, so school will be an adjustment for her too.  She is going through a growth spurt.  She has graduated to two short naps a day instead of one long one again and she has become very clumsy.  Saturday she took a flying leap off of a chair in the kitchen and hit her teeth and lip on the table.  She ended up with two teeth marks inside her lip and a big gash on her mouth, not to mention the fat lip.  I hope she finishes growing soon, she has already grown out of a lot of clothes.

FInally an update

Wow it has been so long since I sat down and made a post.  Part of it is the time I have been spending getting the house ready for my stuff and part of it is, we were on dial up for a VERY long time.  Now we are settling in.  Our stuff will be here next Wednesday.  It has been six months since we packed out in England.  A lot has happened, but I am happy to be getting settled finally.

I will be teaching the girls starting next week again.  We were going to be on the year round schedule, but it just didn't work out with all the upheaval this summer.  I might try it again next summer.  I am really excited about getting them started on their new curriculum and getting us back on that strict school schedule.

Next Wednesday I have an appointment with a rheumatologist.  What's that you say???  A young lady like me at a rheumatologist?? I thought it was crazy too, but my doctor seems to think I might have one of those strange diseases like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fybromyalgia.  The latter being what they are leaning toward more, since I feel like I have the flu all the time and I am sooo tired.  Anyway, I will let you know how that appointment goes.

Anyway, that's an update.  Thanks to all of you who came to visit my blog regularly even though I wasn't visiting yours or posting on mine.  I will try to catch up on yours this week!

Friendly reminder:

When using an air pump to blow up an air mattress, DO NOT lean into it or let your hair hang loose.  It will get caught up in the motor and so tangled that you have to cut it out.  My hair is about six inches shorter than it was earlier today.
