Today I am 31.  I have a few more wrinkles than last year, a few extra pounds, and probably a few grey hairs that weren't there (I wouldn't know since I dye it).

This past year has been wonderful for me.  I have now been blogging for 1 year and 1 month.  Time has flown by for us.  Our last year in England was wonderful and I will never forget it.  In the past year there have been a lot of changes in our lives.  Starting homeschool with all of the kids, getting out of the Army, looking for a new job, moving back to the US after our five years in England, and starting completely over.  However much I miss England, I could not be happier.  The past year has taught me so many lessons, the most important being, as long as we have the ones we love with us, and healthy, all material things are worthless.   I have learned patience, faith, the power of prayer, and many other lessons along the way. 

I look forward to the next year, watching the kids grow and learn, learning about our new community, spending more time with our extended family, and getting more involved with this community.  Life is such a beautiful ride.  Each and every day is a new adventure that you wake up to find.  Everything is a learning and growing experience.  I thank God for each and every birthday and the year that comes before it, for all the things I have learned, and for an opportunity to begin another year of learning and growing.  (Cause I still have lots more to do)
