Stereotypes

David's Mom bought us the first three seasons of Little House on the Prairie on DVD. The kids have been quite taken with this series. They watch them all the time. We even got a few Little House on the Prarie movies that were made. In the movies they are grown up. Today we were talking about getting the fourth and fifth seasons on DVD and a conversation about Mary and her blindness came up.

Brittany: Mommy, in the fourth season is when Mary goes blind.
Me: Yes it is very sad.
Brittany: But she isn't blind in the movie where they are all grown up.
Me: Yes she is and her husband is too.
Brittany: Then why aren't they wearing sunglasses?

LOL! Brittany is too funny. I love Little House on the prairie by the way. I have seen al lthe episodes at least twice.
